Admiral's Club

All decked out in leather and a militaristic jacket that pays ode to the edgy chic militaristic trend.

Truth be told, I am hopelessly in love with the Militaristic trend. This Fall/ Winter season was the perfect time to experiment with this edgy chic trend. From felt jackets with cleverly placed gold sailor style buttons, to lace-up boots anchored by beautiful ornate hooks and straps. The militaristic trend is the perfect embodiment of tough girl edge and class.

Transitioning into Spring, this trend will morph into more feminine lines and shapes, think sailor chic. Pieces would incorporate elements and patterns like epaulettes and stripes. Even more familiar, would be the khaki and olive shades, as well as blacks and blues hues.

Mixing some of my favorite pieces in my closet, this look channels some sexy tough girl vibes.
Balmain is a designer that certainly knows how to deftly create militaristic master pieces, so it is no wonder I had to get my hands on this HMxBalmian piece. Paired with a strapless faux leather dress with peplum detailing and a girly silhouette, some femininity is maintained. Pulling out my heavy artillery- these gorgeous lace-up boots- pulls the entire look together.
