Rogue Revival

Finally, got my head out of the sands to blog! It's been a busy couple of weeks but I'll spare you the boring details.

This outfit features the leather trend that exploded last year, and most of us have come to love. Good news-the trend is here to stay. The new found versatility of leather with it's different silhouettes and colors, is what I like the most about the trend. It's no longer limited to its old tight, restrictive forms but now showcases an array of flattering pieces that fits almost any style. Almost any kind of clothing comes in leather from dresses to coats, you name it.

I added structure to the leather-like feminine shaped skirt with a structured zipper Jacket that I discovered last fall (which i simply love). Haven't gotten the chance to wear it in forever, so I revived them from the depths of my closet in the spirits of fall.

The shoes, where do I start? I tried and tried to resist the urge to get them because I kept seeing them everywhere but I gave in. I simply adore these heels.
The tote from the Phillip Lim forTarget collection is perfection. I know I will get a lot of wear out of this. What did you get?

Jumpsuit Mania

I make no secrets about it, I absolutely love Jumpsuits (and rompers)!

I honestly can't understand why it ever went out of style until it's revival a few years back. Although I love fashion and all it's nuances, I would admit I can be quite lazy. You know, those days when you just want a quick outfit, with no fuss, yet look well put together. Best go-to for me are jumpsuits and rompers.
During the summer months, there were numerous variations from long flowy lengths, to floral patterns and structured silhouettes. Also a variation of this trend, the overalls (dungarees) with a bib-style top, became quite popular. It's fall and as it gets colder, I may opt for structured jumpsuits as opposed to rompers- so don't hang up your jumpsuits quite yet. However, there are rompers that can be worn all year round with some layering. Hope I get the chance to show you how soon!

Jumpsuits should be a staple outfit in any closet. Nasty gal often has so many choices. Here are some jumpsuits I'm currently coveting and should get your creative (or lazy) side going. Just have fun with it!

Final Days of Summer

September is here,  so are the last days of summer and a hint of melancholy.
But wait! There are Perks, such as Fashion Week which started today, amazing end of season sales, new season trends and the gorgeous colors of autumn.

Speaking of Perks- I absolutely love the leather studded pumps  and matching clutch I'm wearing in this post. I got them a while back. But thanks to the end of summer, you can snag a pair for next to nothing. You will definitely find use for these stunners during the fall (if you are daring) and next Spring. Shades of white have already been spotted on the runways of Fashion Week and it's only day one.

Florals were so big this season, I thought it would be fun to start the end the summer with the one of the season's biggest trends-the Prabal Gurung for Target Blazer. Yes, I'm in Love with Prabal Gurung as evidenced by the multiple pieces of his Target collection I own. Which brings me to the big announcement.

I am absolutely delighted to announce "Pip" as the winner of the Prabal Gurung for Target Clutch giveaway! Expect to hear from me soon! Congrats girlie and once again a big thank you to everyone that entered!
